Hurtigruten has committed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, being the first major travel company to remove single-use plastic from their fleet. They have launched plans to build their first zero-emission ship by 2023, built the world’s first hybrid electric-powered cruise ships, and engage the communities they visit by sourcing their excursions and food locally.
